ORIGINAL HOY KA HOLLYWOOD

The Original Hoy-Ka Hollywood has been a favorite of LA's Thai food fans for years. After a brief closure earlier this year, it's reopened half a mile up the road at 5908 West Sunset Boulevard. It may have been hard to manage a couple of weeks without their amazing Pad See Ew, but the new location was worth the wait. It's the same great food, but the new location is bigger and better, with nicer decor. If fighting LA traffic is your thing, you'll be glad to know that the new location features parking. But if you'd rather the food came to you, they offer delivery with only a $20 minimum order. The new location came with another upgrade-- they're now accepting credit cards instead of operating cash-only.

Hoy-Ka offers a wide selection of Thai salads to start your meal. You can dive off the deep end with the spicy pork liver salad, or stick with the larb. The papaya salad is especially popular.

They offer curry, rice dishes, and soups. But we're really here for the noodles. Hoy-Ka offers all the Thai standbys, and they're expert at all of them. It's what they do. The signature Hoy-Ka noodles are something special. Order them with pork for an intense flavor experience. The boat noodles are also superb. Actually, you can't go wrong with any of their noodles. Order anything they have for a five-star experience.

Speaking of star ratings, Hoy-Ka makes their food on the spicy side, so unless you know what you're getting into, don't order your dinner at the highest heat. And just in case you go too far, order the coconut palm juice to take the edge off in the most refreshing way possible.

The Original Hoy-Ka is an LA staple for a very good reason. Visit them at their new location. If it's your first time, be prepared: it won't be your last.

Roli Roti Gourmet Rotisserie

Roli Roti is a premier gourmet rotisserie food stand located in San Francisco, California. Thomas Odermatt, the creator of Roli Roti, learned how to cut meat from his father Otto in their butcher shop in the Swiss Alps. Though the other shops in his neighborhood sold rotisserie Thomas noticed that the line for his family's shop was out there door. He was smart and asked his mom for the recipes to their gourmet dishes figuring that he could probably use them someday. Well, Thomas would do just that. Thomas traveled to the US after college and would create these same dishes for his friends but they gained so much popularity he was forced to go into business. That business is known today as "Roli Roti".

You can experience those same dishes that Thomas's family was so popular for in the Swiss Alps today in San Francisco, California. Things haven't changed that much either. These days the lines are still filled with people coming back for more of Thomas's family recipes. Out of almost a thousand reviews on Yelp Roli Roti has 4.5 rating which is even more of an incentive to try it out. Experience the goodness that is Roli Roti while you can because the lines are only getting longer as I'm typing this.

All of the dishes are a hit at Roli Roti but the go-to is the Porchetta Sandwich. One yelper described the sandwich as a "pork-lover's dream come true". If you don't want the usual you can go with the pork knuckle. It has crispy outsides with juicy pork insides which makes for an fantastic combination of awesome. If you want a meal that tastes good and is going to fill you up order the rosemary potatoes with a whole chicken. It has amazing reviews all around the board so you will not be disappointed.

Kitcho Japanese Restaurant

Kitcho Japanese restaurant in San Mateo is one of the most delicious Japanese and sushi restaurants I have visited while I have been living in San Mateo. My first time visiting Kitcho, I wasn’t sure how I would enjoy sushi, as I had never had it before. But after my first visit, I was automatically hooked and now rely on Kitcho regularly.

One of the most enticing things that Kitcho offers is the way they decorate and present their plates. It seems that every plate I have ever ordered, or seen no less, is wildly presented one a plate. This doesn’t stop at just their meals, as their drinks are also quite extravagant and out of the ordinary. I enjoy going to Kitcho with my friends and starting with a few mixed drinks and some assorted sushi, but we usually end the night with any of their colorful shot combinations.

Another benefit of Kitcho is the type of people that you can expect to eat there. There are some other sushi restaurants in San Mateo that bring in younger crowds that do not really appreciate the art of Japanese food. However, Kitcho is a more trendy and upscale restaurant that caters to people who are likeminded and looking to enjoy good food and drinks. That said, Kitcho may not be the best place for a family night out, but that’s not to say it doesn’t make for a great date night if you can get a babysitter for a few hours.

All in all, I really enjoy Kitcho. Not just for the food, for the experience every time I walk into the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to assure that you are having a great time and enjoying your meal. And with as delicious and wild as the food is, you are certain the enjoy the food each time.

Sushi Tomo

In Japanese ‘tomo’ is a word variation meaning friendly, and Sushi Tomo is aptly named from atmosphere to service. Sushi Tomo has two convenient locations, one in the University Park area and the other on El Camino Way. Both locations are wheelchair accessible, offer the same fast and friendly service as well as the same high quality of food. The casual dining atmosphere of each location is excellent for group meetings, family night's out, longtime couples or first time dates.

If you’re a business person in search of a quick and delicious lunch, Sushi Tomo has exactly what you need. Their lunch box combinations of salmon teriyaki, tempura and California roll, or salmon, tempura and sashimi are a tossup favorite among the locals. Their chicken teriyaki over rice or tempura udon will have you stopping back by for dinner, as well as relaxing with a glass of wine or cold beer after a long day. You could make a meal out of their sashimi appertizer alone, and their miso soup will certainly have you asking for seconds or even thirds.

Like most restaurants, their dinner menu offers a wider variety, and all items are still made with only the freshest of ingredients. The freshness can be tasted with each bite, and since most dinner items are under twenty dollars and come with generous helpings, don’t be surprised if you end up ordering more than your stomach can hold.

Their sushi list seems endless. You will find ingredients such as octopus, squid and eel, to local items which are completely vegetarian friendly. If you are a first time patron have little doubt you will find your favorite ingredient or combination. Their floating sushi bar is perfect for picky kids, and Sushi Tomo will make any item to order at your request as well as keep your tea glass full.

You should be well-versed in management if you want a stable local restaurant. If you will do it, you can earn a stable reputation and attract loyal customers. The first thing that you shall know is how to control the costs. An inventory management system that is effective can help you in taking some priorities. If you order a lot of foods, it also does not help a lot. Do not attempt to cook plenty of foods especially if you do not have any idea of the customers to come because it will just spoil. If you do not want the foods to be put to waste, then, come up with a clear sense of the amounts of foods that you want to prepare every day. It is also a good idea if you will employ more employees during the peak season and only a few during slow hours.

Customer service is also one of the factors that will enhance your customer's reach. Follow the link for more info about the San Mateo Restaurants. The customers would like to frequently dine at your local restaurant if the customer service personnel know how to hold them very well. If you want to employ staff under customer services, they should be the people who are friendly, attentive, hardworking, and courteous. If you want to improve their services, talk to them in a very positive way. As they are agents for customer services, they should really be adept in handling the complaints of the clients. Customers like to be appreciated so they should know how to appreciate as well.

Your clients would love to eat fresh foods. Your dishes should complement the theme and general ambiance of your local restaurant. Health-conscious people are very meticulous about foods so produce some dishes that are only for them. Your customers will also like the consistency of your food qualities. Think about unique dishes.

Your clients would love to stay in a clean dining place so maintain the cleanliness. After the former clients have left, be sure to reset the table immediately for the next people to use. Remember that your restaurant shall be evaluated based on its cleanliness.

You can expect more diners to come to your local restaurant if it has a welcoming atmosphere. Put some good colors and lighting that will improve its ambiance. Do not forget to put up decorations for more attractions and music to set the mood of those who dine.

You can increase the number of diners through effective marketing strategies. Read more about the San Francisco Food. You can give fliers, advertise by means of newspapers, and share the good news through internet. You can also sponsor community events.

Managing a local restaurant takes energy and time. The effective management techniques will help you to attain success in the business.
